Both I and my wife Jeanne are originally from Michigan. We ended up in Racine as a result of my job with Volkswagen. When I transferred from the United Kingdom to Libertyville, IL, we searched for a place with unique character – not just another suburb. We fell in love with the city of Racine.We have 2 children – Chloe (19) and Max (15). I also have an older son, Colin, who has graduated from university and is working in downtown Chicago.

 The 9th district which covers wards 21 and 22 is roughly bounded by West Blvd., Washington Avenue and Northwestern Avenue.
