Facilities include: kitchen, library, offices, gymnasium, ceramics room, picnic area, playground area, large game room, softball diamonds, multi-purpose room, off-street parking, men's and women's shower/locker rooms, arts and crafts and meeting rooms.

Homework Assistance

On a daily basis from September through May, Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. this class provides an opportunity for youth to improve upon their basic skills (reading, writing and arithmetic) and for help in a subject of their choice such as spelling, English, etc. All of the aforementioned subjects are directed toward grade school and middle school youth. Others may receive help upon request.

G.E.D./H.S.E.D. Class

Instruction provided by Gateway Technical College staff using the Learning 2002 Educational learning system. Learning 2002 is a comprehensive learning system designed to address the personal needs and interests of each student. For more information or to enroll, contact the staff at 636-9237.

Drill Team

Girls & boys 14 and under (Banner Bearers), Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. beginning 2nd week of January through August. Participants required to travel. Permission slips are necessary.

Juneteenth Day Celebration

Saturday, June , 2011 - 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. An outdoor concert with cultural activities, ethnic food, crafts and family entertainment. Join us for family fun and community involvement!

Adult Day-Time Open Recreation

Recreation activities for individuals who work second and third shift. Activities included are jogging, volleyball, pool and basketball. Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Computer Lab

A computer lab is held on a daily basis from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. for ages 12 and under, and for
Senior/adults from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ~~~ Staff on site for assistance.

Racine/Kenosha Community Action Agency

Every Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. the CAA will assist individuals with filling out energy assistance applications to receive energy assistance.

Youth Lunch Program

The summer lunch program provides free-balanced bag lunches and/or hot meals to youth 12 and under or the handicapped of any age. Check the Center bulletin board for days and times or contact the Recreation Supervisor.

Community Garden Plots

April through September - Plot Size: 10 Feet by 15 Feet

Arts and Crafts Program

Geared toward elementary and middle school youth that get a chance to explore their creative abilities through a variety of projects. Activities range from finger painting to coloring, etc. Offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Offered Mondays from 8:00 – 12:00 p.m. for seniors.
