The City of Racine is committed to the health and well-being of its employees. As part of its benefits package, the City of Racine offers the City Wellness Program to employees, retirees, and their spouses who are insured through City health insurance.
By completing the steps below, employees/retirees will receive $200, and spouses $100, as the City Wellness Incentive. Further reimbursements are available; see below for details.
City Wellness Program participants are surveyed annually to determine outcomes of the program. The feedback received from the survey also helps to facilitate continuous program improvement. Below are the results of 2014 City of Racine Wellness Survey.

Contact Debbie Mazius (262-636-9491), the Racine County and City Health Center (262-687-8640), your personal physician, or your Department Physician if an employee of the Fire Department. This is a confidential consultation to assist you in understanding your health assessment and set your personal goals. After the consultation, have the Wellness Incentive Form signed.

The City Wellness program provides reimbursements to employees and retirees for a portion of the cost of a fitness club or group exercise program membership. See the
Fitness Reimbursement Form for more information about this benefit.
Note: Medicare Advantage Retirees qualify for the Silver Sneakers benefit through their Medicare Advantage Plan. These individuals are not eligible for the Fitness Reimbursement.
In its commitment to employee wellness, the City provides a reimbursement incentive for employees, retirees, and spouses utilizing a nicotine gum. The City's medication card, CVS Caremark, entitles you to prescription smoking cessation medications. See the
