The PRCS Kiddie Korner, Future, Play It Again & BIGS summer playground programs provide creative fun and innovative learning experiences through organized games, field trips, free play and weekly special events. Each site is supervised by two college students extensively trained as playground leaders. The programs run for 9 weeks, Monday through Thursday, from mid-June through mid-August. First year Kiddie Korner participants must show a birth or baptismal certificate at registration. Participants are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

at Cesar Chavez Community Center (PM Session only), Lockwood Park or Humble Park Community Center (AM Session only)

All Sport Academy is a nine-week, theme-oriented playground program operating Monday through Thursday from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. Participants will experience low and high intensity games, recreational activities, special events and enrichment presentations in a structured and well-organized environment.
Each playground site is programmed and supervised by two (2) college student playground leaders who receive extensive in-service training.
You may select one of the below locations:
Roosevelt School, 915 Romayne Avenue
Mitchell School, 2701 Drexel Avenue
This program will run Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. from mid-June through mid-August. Registration is currently closed. Please check back in April for 2017 registration information.
All Sport Academy Parent Manual
The Traditional Drop - In Playground Program is a FREE nine week theme-oriented, non-registered drop in summer program that runs Monday - Thursday for neighborhood children 7 to 13 years of age. Recreational activities, special events, games, inter-park sports competitions and even field trips will be held! Please note: Unlike the registered playground programs, playground leaders do not monitor with whom, how, or when children come and go from playground.
