All City Hall departments will be closed in observance of the various legal and religious holidays:
Voting must now be done at your polling place, scroll down to find your polling location online.
Absentee voting will resume October 10th, 2016 until November 4th, 2016 for the November 8th election.
Absentee voting will be available at City Hall during normal business hours. Absentee voting will also be available on Saturday October 22nd & 29th, from 9am until 1pm.
The City of Racine will be conducting absentee voting for the residents who have requested an absentee ballot at the following locations:

Outside registration closes at 5:00 p.m. twenty (20) days before each election. Anyone wishing to register after this date may do so in the City Clerk's Office or at the polling place on the date of the election.
You must provide proof of residence when you register to vote. Acceptable forms of identification must show the name of the voter and the address they are declaring as their residence. Some examples of acceptable identification include, but are not limited to, the following:

How to apply for an absentee ballot
If you are not already registered, you will need to register to vote (www.GAB.wi.gov

ballot can be sent to you.

The application must be received by the clerk no later than 5:00 p.m.
on the Thursday before the election in order for an absentee ballot to be
mailed to you.
Request by E-Mail or Fax for MILITARY and OVERSEAS VOTERS
A voter may request that a ballot be sent to them by sending an e-mail
or fax to their municipal clerk. Before the ballot can be counted on
election day, the municipal clerk must have received a request
from the voter with an original signature. (Print your emailed request, sign
it, and return it with your ballot, but outside the certified ballot envelope.)
This request should be made no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday
before the election in order for an absentee ballot to be mailed to
