BelleTV is the official television and web channel for the City of Racine. The station formerly known as CAR25 was re-branded in July of 2013 as “BelleTV,” a fresh name that celebrates the endearing term given to Racine in the 19th Century as the “Belle” or most beautiful city on the Great Lakes. BelleTV exists not only to serve the broadcasting needs of the local government within the City, but also to provide a platform for the Racine area to engage in the creation of art and media, the exchange of ideas and information, and the creative display of the long appreciated beauty and culture of Racine. BelleTV is managed by the City of Racine, Wisconsin.
Notice
From time to time, Time Warner Cable makes certain changes in the services that we offer. On or after Tuesday, May 26, 2015, Time Warner Cable will be making technical changes to our cable system in Southeast and Northeast Wisconsin that may disrupt some customers ability to view unencrypted ("in-theclear") channels, including Public Educational, and Government ("PEG") access channels on a digital television or other device that includes a QAM tuner (a "ClearQAM device").
If this occurs, affected customers will simply need to go into the settings menu on their ClearQAM device and perform a "channel scan" in order to resume viewing these channels. Customers using digital cable set-top boxes or digital ada pters will NOT see a ny change.
Customers without a cable set-top box or digital adapter, who are directly connected to televisions with a QAM tuner, will find the PEG channels in your community as follows:
Public Access channel 25 will be found on digital channel 97.25
Educational Access channel 20 will be found on digital channel 97.20
