How to apply for an absentee ballot
If you are not already registered, you will need to
register to vote (
https://elections.wi.gov/
Form EL-131) before an absentee ballot can be sent to you.
Download the
Voter Registration Application.
Complete the form, print, then sign and mail it or drop it off to your municipal clerk's office along with the Application for Absentee Ballot (see below) along with acceptable photo ID.

The application must be received by the clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the election in order for an absentee ballot to be mailed to you.
Bring your absentee ballots back to central count, located
at city hall 730 Washington Ave. room 207 until 8:00 pm.
Request by E-Mail or Fax for MILITARY and OVERSEAS VOTERS
ONLY
A voter may request that a ballot be sent to them by sending an e-mail
or fax to their municipal clerk.
Before the ballot can be counted on
election day, the municipal clerk must have received a request
from the voter with an original signature.
(Print your emailed request, sign
it, and return it with your ballot, but outside the certified ballot envelope.)
This request should be made no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday
before the election in order for an absentee ballot to be mailed to
you.
