Our parks, nature areas, community centers, and programs continue to thrive largely because of your support. Your sponsorship, donations, and volunteerism help keep our parks and nature areas beautiful places to enjoy the outdoors. Children are able to finish school work at the community centers after school, and families are able to gather in the parks for a movie or concert.
While the city applies for grants and other private/public funds to enhance its efforts and stretch available resources, your contributions are important to the vitality of the City of Racine and its mission. Thank you! We are forever grateful!
We’ve developed a Community Engagement program to provide opportunities for everyone in the community to be involved. Opportunities include
sponsorships, monetary and in-kind donations, and volunteerism. Information about these opportunities are below. Please contact our department if you have an opportunity not listed below, and we will see if we can make it happen!
Enables individuals or groups to purchase trees or benches to commemorate a special event or honor a loved one. It works like a donation, as trees or benches are purchased by the donor, and then the item is donated to the city parks.
We offer free activities and programs throughout the year for individuals and families. Your monetary or in-kind donation can enable us to bridge the gap between the needs and the budget. Donations can be made in any amount to any of our programs.
We enjoy working alongside those in our community! There are so many ways to be involved! Volunteers can assist in community centers, with activities or programs, join a Friend organization, or Adopt a Park to name a few!
