How to Recycle
All recyclables go in the cart: no sorting or bagging required! Check the list of accepted recyclables below.
- Rinse all containers thoroughly; no liquids, food contamination, or hazardous materials allowed.
- Flatten or cut cardboard so it fits in the cart without taking up a lot of space.
- Papers and magazines are placed in the cart loose.
- Bundle paper, magazines, and cardboard, and place beside the cart if these items will not fit.
- Other recyclables that won’t fit in the cart may be placed in blue recycling bags and left next to the cart.
- Solid waste and garbage are not allowed in the recycling cart.
