Paratransit Dial a Ride Transportation (DART)
Providing Mobility and Independence through the provision of safe and reliable transit.
Dial a Ride Transportation (DART) is an economical door-to-door service designed to transport qualified individuals with disabilities who are prevented from using fixed route bus service. DART is provided by the Belle Urban System. This service is offered in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The disability may be permanent or seasonal and is further explained in the attached brochure entitled "City of Racine Specialized Transportation."
Hours of Operation:
DART provides hours of service on weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, comparable to the RYDE Racine fixed-route service.
DART is provided door-to-door, within 3/4 of a mile of the fixed route bus system. Rides are $4.00 each way (exact change is required. Operators do not and are not permitted to make change. All ride tickets are non-refundable and non-returnable.
To register for DART, you must first complete an application (see below), and physician certification form, which can be mailed by calling 1-262-619-2438.
