Mayor Cory Mason and other City of Racine staff and
officials will join the LGBT Center of SE Wisconsin and members of the public
to celebrate the LGBTQ community on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. at Racine City Hall.
Racine’s Pride event will highlight the strength and
resiliency of the LGBTQ community in the face of renewed attacks that have
restricted freedom and equality nationwide.
This event is an opportunity for residents of all backgrounds
to come together, recognize the immense contributions of the LGBTQ community to
the City of Racine, and affirm the importance of a city that is safe and
welcoming to all.
