Winter Parking Regulations 2021-2022

Winter Parking Regulations for the 2021 / 2022 winter season.   This is to help accommodate snow plowing services in the winter months and is the same regulation that was in place during the last winter season.

CITY OF RACINE WINTER PARKING REGULATIONS

DAILY 2 a.m. - 6 a.m.

Seven Days a Week, Alternate Side Parking Regulations are in effect from December 1 to April 1, excepting Thanksgiving Day, December 25th and January 1st.

Vehicles must park on the even-numbered address side of the street between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. of an even-numbered calendar day; and on the odd-numbered side of the street between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. of an
odd-numbered day.

Vehicles violating these restrictions are subject to ticketing and a $20 fine.

During declared Snow Emergencies: 1) no parking is allowed on arterial and collector streets while the Snow Emergency is in effect, violators will be towed; 2) on local streets, odd/even side parking restrictions (based on the following day’s date) start when a Snow Emergency is declared, and remain in effect until 6 a.m.
