More info about the holiday celebrations:

The 4th of July Parade is run by the 4th Fest of Greater Racine, Inc. You can find more information on their website.

The festivities begin with a pre-parade at 8:30 a.m. and the official parade starts at 9:00 a.m.

Remember, the City of Racine wants all residents to stay safe. No silly string, poppers or firecrackers, or crossing in front of units will be allowed during the parade.

The parade starts at Goold St. and Main St. moving south around the turn, up 14th Street.

The streets start to close on the north end at 7:00am moving south and will be fully closed around 8:00am. The earliest you can claim your spot on the parade route is 5:00am.

The 4th Fest of Greater Racine fireworks are sponsored by The City of Racine and Festival Foods.

The fireworks start after the sun sets and the sky is dark on Tuesday, typically around 8:45 p.m. but this can vary

There is only street parking available in the neighborhoods surrounding North Beach. It gets busy, so be prepared to walk a bit. Please be courteous to those who live in the neighborhoods.

From all of us at the City of Racine, have an enjoyable holiday!
