Have a voice in City of Racine government!
Apply to join a City Board, Commission, or Committee
Committees, commissions, and boards play a significant role in helping City of Racine staff, the Racine Common Council and Mayor Mason in making decisions that affect the lives of Racine residents. The City of Racine values broad participation in these bodies and highly encourages people of color, persons with disabilities, women, and members of other traditionally underrepresented groups to apply. Positions on any of these Boards, Commissions, and Committees are open to all City of Racine residents.
It’s as easy as 1 – 2 – 3:
1. View the listing of Boards, Commissions and Committees to look up the Current Vacancies
2. Select the Board, Commission, or Committees you’re interested in serving on (Each Board, Commission, or Committee lists what day and time that body meets – make sure you’re available to meet at those times.)
3. Complete the application and click “Submit.”
Once you’ve submitted your completed application, it will remain on file in the Mayor’s Office and, as vacancies occur in your areas of interest, your application will be reviewed and considered. Email mayor@cityofracine.org or call 262-636-9111 if you have questions about your application. Thank you for being willing to serve the City of Racine!
