Lifeguarding at Zoo Beach has ended for the season.
ZOO BEACH
Informally called “Zoo Beach,” this area is directly north of North Beach, adjacent to the Racine Zoo. The area is accessible by the Lake Michigan Pathway. A staircase is also available to access Zoo Beach from street level.
Amenities: Though Zoo Beach does not have the same amenities as North Beach, it has fewer crowds for those wishing to have a quieter day on the sand. There are no restrooms, concessions or play equipment.
Lifeguards are at Zoo Beach on Saturday and Sunday 10 am – 5:30 pm through August 14th. Swimming is at your own risk.
